Masseria Centrone Piccolo

We went here for the first time recently although we were only staying just up the road. I think it is only open on Sunday for lunch to non residents. The food is gorgeous, fabulous anti pasti, then ravioli, followed by pork, then cheese, then little biscuits. We loved it all, and we were well and truly full. The masseria is beautiful. There is a large dining room for parties which is where we sat. There was large family birthday happening and it was nice to sit and people watch. The staff are very nice, the food very very nice and we will certainly be going back, we can even walk there which is a big bonus. we have eaten all over Puglia and this is one of the nicest meals we have had.

Wow what a great experience, 3 hours of delightful flavoursome local food, many cold meats antipasto followed by delightful freshly made pasta little ears then a fresh fruit dessert accompanied by nice local wine topped off with espresso coffee cherry brandy.Notable experience Restaurent beautifully re furbished cow shed! Well, my friend and me just looked for a nice place to stay and what we found excelled all our expectations. Seriously, we just knew that they had a pool and that we would have enough space for 2. So the pool was more like a hollywood-like spa and sitting in the restaurant felt like turning into a celebrity. Sitting at the roof, drinking a bottle of italian wine after a long day were the real peak moments of our trip. The facilities, atmosphere, and the really nice and laid back stuff made sure that we had a really great time. A treasure in the midst of stunning landscapes. I really don't like to write reviews about anything but this place just deserved it. It's simply one of those awesome suprises in life which you haven't expected at all. Far from being just a flash in the pan. This restaurant is located in a rather hidden landscape that 's quite easy to miss but will remind you definitely of a rustically feel-like-home paradise. The decor allows the simplistic beauty of the food really to shine...For those who the Italian food is equal to pizza, pasta or bombete with meat filling, this will be a great introduction to distinctive the Apulian rich on flavours cuisine with a high variety on fish and meat dishes selection. Especially the varied accompaniments making an ordinary eating experience at a price that won 't leave you feeling like you were caught-hook, line and sinker. However, we have been there for the first time with a group of friends and here I would like to say don 't let this be the big one that got away...
