"Ate here with friends and we all had the menu. Some of the food was ok and some not but for 14 euro's for the menu it was ok. Staff were attentive and the service was quick. What did disappoint us was the experience with the wine. We ordered wine, including a bottle of Rose. The Rose went fairly quickly so we ordered a 2nd bottle (we asked for the same Rose that we had been drinking) but were told that the bottles were not cold but they could bring us some ice. We agreed to this but noticed that it looked more white than Rose when it arrived, and that the top had already been removed from the bottle. The wine also tasted like white wine and not Rose. When we called the waitress over to tell her it was not Rose, she picked up the bottle and said it was rose and the bottle says Rosado. We then picked up a glass of wine from the previous wine which someone was still drinking and placed it against a glass from the new bottle and politely told her to look at the colour and that the wine in the 2nd bottle was definitely not Rose. She did apologise and we were not charged for the white wine, but there is only 1 way that a white wine gets into a rose wine bottle. Do not misunderstand, the white wine was ok, but to re-fill a bottle with another wine (maybe from a barrel) is not good. So for anyone reading this, make sure you bottle of wine has not been opened before it gets to your table."

"This lovely restaurant is set within the walls of the beautiful old town of Castello d'Empuries. It is run by the 2 ladies who used to run Cash Clara Restaurant in the same town. Now they have moved on to this delightful place and taken all their hospitality and culinary skills with them. We have visited a few times and each visit has been a delight. The food, service and ambiance is all excellent and it is by far our favourite place to go for lunch or dinner in the area."
