I’m Italo-Australian and I took my two elderly aunties and my cousin and her husband there. They are locals and I wanted to shout them for a change. We all loved it. Each dish was excellent. Firstly we were served a wide array of antipasti, all gorgeous, then pasta, equally delicious and finally the bbq meat. You have to include the bbq, that’s what a Baracca is all about. After that came fruit and coffee. Do the lot! The view from the restaurant was beautiful too, you’ll be looking across the Nebrodi mountains and to the sea, dotted with the aeolian islands. I loved it and of course I’ll return! This is in my home town, Castell’Umberto and I’m happy to recommend both the restaurant and more generally this town to fellow travellers.
