Grande su tutta la linea, cucina di benvenuto, servizio, amicizia!!!! La scelta varia, il grande servizio , il menu variegato ,curato, abbondante!!!
Locale accogliente, persone gentili , ottima cucina con piatti tipici toscani. Una garanzia.

"Friends we met through our travel companion suggested we had a dinner here with wines from their own wine estate. We absolutely loved the staff and the food. It is a local favourite. During the day there must be some lovely views as well. But we visited in the evening."

"I’m almost hesitant to write the terrific review of La Taverna in case extolling its many virtues leads to it being overwhelmed! Situated in a village about 5 miles from Siena, this restaurant, and the food is simply sublime, and classically Tuscan. The owner/chef Andrea is a lovely chap and is “front and center” creating the esoteric dishes every night. I’ve been there 4 times now, and I can’t say enough good things about the food. There are some really traditional, old Tuscan dishes, classic modern ones, and then Andrea’s special ravioli whose stuffing varies dependent on local seasonal availability. The wine list is excellent with lots of local, small batch favorites like Felsina and Badia e Coltibono; pricing is more than reasonable. The ambience is like being in a farmhouse, barrel-tiled ceilings and just a warm atmosphere. If there was a “6” stars I’d give it."

"My wife and I went for lunch, seeing as it was rated very highly. We ordered beef tartare, eggplant with burrata, and the truffle pasta. The beef tartare tasted spoiled and was inedible- after taking one bite I put it aside as I felt as though I was going to be sick. It looked more like finely chopped hamburger meat that was close to room temperature. The eggplant with burrata was soggy, with the water from the burrata spilling over the plate. Finally, the pasta was basically a spaghetti version of macaroni and cheese with a mound of shaved black truffle on top. We ate about half of it and then promptly asked for the check, wanting to remove ourselves as soon as possible."
