"Wow. Full stop. Every bite was a pleasure. The place has a very old school feel and that’s a good thing, it would seem. Culatello on point as you would expect. The pasta to die for. I had the caramelle (candy shaped pasta) with porcini. My partner has the tortelli with a parmesan and herb filling that was life changing. We asked for wine by the glass and were served a wonderful local red. We hadn’t planned on a secondi, but were so excited about the food that we shared a pork stracotto dish with polenta. It was even better than the pastas. Truly, one of the best meals of the trip. I’m reasonably certain we were the only foreigners in the place. Make the drive into the country for this. Bonus points for the two friendly cats outside."
