Amazing ambience! The middle case is right in front of the front door. The inn also has a dining area inside and outside outdoors. If you want to dine outdoors in the dining area, you should wait. The service is excellent and the food is top notch. The Shrimp and Scallops Bisque is a must and so is the Betty Berry Shortcake! The portion sizes are largish, so order accordingly. Great location! The rooms are clean and the Inn is beautifully maintained, it also has a cute library with beautiful windows overlooking the Middle Falls. The food at the restaurant is super, attentive and friendly staff(Lance and Lynette Thanks! Check-in is very helpful. Total ambience! The Upper Falls are a short walk from the Inn. Also try the Betty Berry Shortcake in the restaurant!
Service is very good. I ordered the steak with Putin. The engraving was salty, but the portion size is generous. My husband enjoyed the turkey. He also enjoyed the berry cake with a bowl of ice. I chose the Glen Iris coffee that had Irish cream, Grand Marnier and Kahlua. The leaves in Letchworth Park are 80% of the peak and the outside temperature was about 60. We asked for outdoor seating and our server allowed us to move our table into a sunny part of the garden (to stay warm). The toilets are clean and we will be in stock..
We went to Letchworth Park to view the the beautiful scenery. It was my birthday and our family had my birthday lunch at the Inn. We were not staying at the Inn, so I can only review the restaurant. The French onion soup followed by the Pot Roast and vegetables were amazing! You will have Pot Roast there that if you are honest, will admit your Mamma or Grandma have never made like that. The only reason why I gave 4 stars and not 5, is because you CANNOT book a reservation upfront. It is not like there are other restaurants around the corner to choose from if you arrive there and they do not have room for you. I mean, you don't want to eat Take Aways at the nearest one horse town on your birthday do you? You need to hang around and at some point they will let you in. I personally found it frustrating and slightly inconsiderate.
Great atmosphere. Nice view of the falls. Good food. Good service. Reasonable prices. Highly recommend. And take time to enjoy the (Letchworth) park too. The Humphrey Nature Center is a GREAT place to start!
Had dinner there. All in the group enjoyed their meal. Great food. Save space for Dessert. Very delicious. The staff was very nice. Could see how everyone was clean and worked hard to stay safe with Kovid.
