Took a friend for a belated Birthday celebration. He was delighted as had been a guest at the hotel for several functions in past years. I was a little disappointed that the tea served was not leaf tea as this adds to the special nature of taking afternoon tea. In addition the sandwiches did not provide the wow factor in the same way that the cakes did. Overall it was a nice experience. View all feedback.

it was my birthday. the afternoon was very disappointing. the sandwiches were terrible, the brot felt stale. it took so long until the tee arrived that the coffee and tee had gone cold. the lounge was freezing! So we sat with a little bit! because the fires were not lit until we arrived and then couldn't go! the personal was apologetic and gave a discount for the bad service. but I would rather have had a perfect aft...
