Luccas Italian Delicatessen

Food poisoning... it's the unreasonable lettuce, the opinion of my doctor. I mentioned how old the lettuce was looking for the Chubby, short, aging, dirty blood female... she hit me hard! I should have followed my instincts.

This place is fantastic! The sandwiches are delicious. The atmosphere brings back memories of my childhood. I will definitely be returning every time I am in the area.

I can't say Luccas well enough. This place is a cornerstone in Castro Valley and I'm so glad they're here. The sandwiches are ALWAYS good. Fresh bread, generous with ingredients and the people who work there are always friendly. If you're in the area or go through, I suggest you stop by. Even if you cannot find a parking space in front of the street, there is a parking space on the back.

I have been going here for ever! There sandwiches and service has always been spot on. No matter what I order they will make it. Just remember to give yourself enough time because they are always packed and for good reason. Easy 5 ? for me!

This is one of my favorite sandwich places to visit in town. The people are always nice and patient and the food is good. As with many things covid has been a disruption in resources and it was noticed in what was missing in their selection of extras.
