We made a reservation for early evening for 3 people who eat whole food plant-based diets and one person who eats everything. We had a great time selecting vegan-friendly starters and then enjoyed an incredible roasted vegetable medley. The staff was attentive and friendly. This was our second visit, and we will definitely return the next time we are in town. View all feedback.
What MichelleMay doesn't like about Daniel's Table:
I went to this restaurant for my husband's birthday and waited 50 minutes for a very basic dish of sautéed vegetables and rice. They did not have any tofu or protein available. In the end, I paid $200 for a meal for three people, which I found to be a waste of time and money. The ambiance of the restaurant was lacking as well, as it is located in a strip mall and the interior was not impressive. View all feedback.
My friend found this place on Happy Cow and we made a shot in the dark when we live in LA and never heard of this place. Daniel greeted us like family m. The atmosphere is relaxing and enjoyable. We asked Daniel to cook what he wanted when my friend is vegan and I am vegetarian. The dishes were amazing. Intrikate flowers, balanced and tasty. I never write reviews, but was forced to do this after I eat here. This will be our way to see now when we come to Palm Springs. Oh, and we'll eat here tomorrow night.
Daniel is the nicest guy. I found Daniel’s Table on Happy Cow while in Palm Springs for a couple of days. I have to say, it felt like I had a private chef cooking me and my boyfriend. Food was beyond amazing. He was so happy to accommodate for a vegan. Everything beyond fresh and healthy, but most of all, so tasty! Definitely recommend and will definitely come back.
The whole meal took two and a half hours and was poorly spaced. My husband asked for his fillet mignon to be cooked medium, but it came very, very rare. They put it back to cooking and it was still rubbery for a very expensive price. My salmon was also cooked. Vegetables on the side were underseasonal and not remarkable. Very disappointing experience as a whole.
Daniel is an excellent cook and host. His dinners are always 5 stars. I gave only 4/5 for the service, as he was short staff last night and produced a spectacular meal. Treat yourself to delicious, creative food and a beautiful ambience. The five of us are going back. The short ribs were delicious, the salads beautiful and tasty, and the charcuterie of different types of venison were definitely a hit. Also I would highly recommend macaroni and cheese... that could be a whole dinner by yourself!
Absolutely must go if you enjoy farm to table! Daniel works hard to please I promise not to be disappointed!
