Jax Dining - Cathedral City

This is fun bingo night. Dinner and bingo...what could be more fun? $5.00 for two bingo cards starting at 6:00 p.m.

There was no one in the restaurant for being Saint Patrick’s day that should’ve been our first clue, sitting outside, and no one came to even give us glasses of water. I had to go into the restaurant and ask if anyone will be servicing us. The waiter was very rude and said when we get out that we will, at that point, we left never to return to Jax’s again

We sat at the bar and enjoyed dinner and watching the Indian Wells tennis. Crowd was lively and appeared many were coming off the golf course. Fun atmosphere at bar and their was live music in dining room.

Didn't work out for us. We just wanted a quiet dinner night out and what we got was a loud crowd of large parties that were drinking the night away and listening to a loud band. Service was very slow and then the food was lukewarm. We won't go there again especially on Friday night. Waitress did the best that she could. Not her problem.

This place has one of the best views of the San Jacinto mountains, especially at sunny. The location has so much potential for a fine dinning experience. Unfortunately the kitchen and limited menus need to be revamped!! After looking through the small list of dinner entrees (3 for a Friday night), I sought out the sandwiches and burgers. How wrong can you go with a chicken club?? My choice of bun was a Brioche, but it came on white bread. The waitress returned it and told me they were now out of Brioche, so I could get rye or whole wheat. I chose rye. She brought me a cold sandwich on whole wheat without any of the aioli it was supposed to have. She didn’t return to check on our party for quit a while so I had to use some of my husband’s salad dressing to moisten the sandwich. The others ordered unremarkable burgers. We all decided that the food really needs to improve!
