I've lived in the Palm Springs area for almost 20 years now and have tried many sushi places throughout the valley. By far, Otori Sushi is still my favorite after 10+ years. I live in the Midwest currently and was craving good sushi on my visit to California. We went to Otori based on some recommendations. The restaurant is nice inside and was packed. Delicious flavors, astonishingly fresh. Not your typical monster-truck sized sushi roll palace. Carefully wrought nigeri, long delicious speers of calamari tempura-fried. Tucked away inside a strip mall in CC. Well worth the sortie

The serving sizes are overly generous. The prices are reasonable (for the serving size). The food is sumptuous. The staff is friendly and always attentive. I've traveled all across the country trying other sushi joints. And yet, this is STILL my favorite place. Currently, they are closed on Monday and only open for dinner hours (5pm closing), so go get you some.
I used to go to this sushi whener around cathedral city. Amazing flavor and quality!
Amazing Sushi, I'm so glad that Otori Sushi is here in the desert. Totally recommended
