"This was an unprepared lunch and we were made welcome to sit outside in beautiful sunshine. we have for 2 courses from the menu of the day. the bavette steak was nicely cooked, tender and tasty. the pan fried hake flaky and very tasty. the mushroom duxelle was also delicious there is a good selection of wine through the glass as well as through the bottle of the place was busy and that sometimes wait a little long, but attentive and very friendly staff made up. we will definitely return"

"So pleased I went to this lovely cafe in Salhouse with my sister today, I never knew it existed. Had a lovely egg sandwich with fresh salad and crisps, also had a piece of lovely ginger cake, which was so fresh, and a great tasting latte. This is such an unusual cafe as there are so many lovely little items, new and vintage scattered around that you can purchase if desired, all sensibly priced. The owner is such a lovely lady and made me feel so welcome. I can’t wait to return again very soon and recommend this lovely little find to my friends."

"I had Gourdon blue with roasted potatoes (to be honest it looked more boiled than roasted also the chicken wasn't prepared how it should) my partner had Goulash with dumpling which was delicious I can say, the dessert Chesnut puree with wiped cream was very tasty."
