Popped into the Italian next door and the waitress was so rude and ignored us for 10mins so we decided to leave. Luckily El Passo was very welcoming and the waiter was fantastic. Food is good and the portions are huge! You definitely would never leave hungry! Thanks for the great service and food. read more.

The place also offers the possibility to sit outside and eat in beautiful weather.

What User doesn't like about El Paso:
The restaurant is located in a cozy little street a few feet off the main restaurant streets. Outdoor seating was nice, although the interior is tackily decorated with sombrero hats and memorabilia.I’ve had Mexican food many times, the fajitas was not very authentic. The spices and flavours were not characteristic at all. Maybe go for a steak instead ;-) read more.

El Paso from Celle is a suitable bar to a cocktail after work, and sit with friends or alone, and you can expect typical Italian cuisine with classics like pizza and pasta. "Nice Bohemian restaurant located near the old town hall (in the Marktpassage). We had dinner in the cosy outside seating area. The menu is not overly-long, which we liked. We ordered potato cream soup as starter and rump steak and lamb as mains which were...served with nice trimmings. The steak was medium although I ordered medium rare. Other than that everything was really nice, including the Budvar on draft. The service was friendly and very efficient. We will be back."

"Recently I found myself in Celle again on a combined business/pleasure trip. Already having eaten at Schweine Schulze (see review there), this time we headed to Le Feu.Le Feu is situated in an old Fachwerkhaus, but that is not too unexpected as in Celle the old character and hauses have been preserved. That is until the socialist party got a majority in the city council and started to demolish old hauses. I think they were voted out before they could damage more than one street that is now an eyesore in Celle.Anyway, back to Le Feu. As the name already indicates there is a bit of a French influence, which translates itself to a lot of dishes with an Alsacian/Lorraine influence like the Elzasser Flammkuche/Tarte Flambée Alsacienne, or, in regular english: The Alsacian version of the Italian Pizza, but with a variety of toppings.The atmosphere in the restaurant was great. The owners/managers are welcoming and friendly just as the staff is. Service was prompt. Ordered several varieties of Flammkuche in sequenceI prefer the more traditional savory Flammkuche, with onions and bacon. My date had a mexican and a hawaiian. All tasted great. Though I am not really into beer, when in germany do as the germans so topped it off with some great german beer.Had a lovely evening. Bill was a pleasant surprise. Definitely good quality for your euro.Le Feu caters for people with several food allergies."

"Dieses Lokal hat uns in keinster Weise überzeugt. Den Wirt empfanden wir in seinem Verhalten als sehr aufgesetzt und unangenehm. Die Wiener Schnitzel waren tot gebraten und in einer ungenießbaren Panade, die Bratkartoffel hatten keinerlei Würzung. Leider ging es bei den Getränken direkt weiter. Das bestellte Radler hatte keinerlei Kohlensäure. Bei diesem Lokal hatten wir den Verdacht, dass Unterschiede zwischen Stammgästen und Tagestouristen gemacht wird. In nächster Zeit starten wir einen Betriebsausflug nach Celle; dieses Lokal werden wir auf jeden Fall meiden !!!!!!"

"Lovely venue, unfortunately one of the waitresses embarrassed us a lot by shouting across the restaurant in German which we did not understand and making us move to a different table which was uncomfortable. The food was adequate but not good, although the wine was very nice. I would not go back."
