"Nice Bohemian restaurant located near the old town hall (in the Marktpassage). We had dinner in the cosy outside seating area. The menu is not overly-long, which we liked. We ordered potato cream soup as starter and rump steak and lamb as mains which were...served with nice trimmings. The steak was medium although I ordered medium rare. Other than that everything was really nice, including the Budvar on draft. The service was friendly and very efficient. We will be back."

"Lovely venue, unfortunately one of the waitresses embarrassed us a lot by shouting across the restaurant in German which we did not understand and making us move to a different table which was uncomfortable. The food was adequate but not good, although the wine was very nice. I would not go back."

"Being my first visit to this restaurant in Celle I was looking forward to a great traditional German meal. And the food did not disappoint at all. The service however ended on a terrible note. We asked our server to split the bill for us (there were four of us) she replied with an outright No. she then proceeded to calculate the bill so the respective parties could pay for their portions. Now she had some serious trouble here though the numbers were not big at all. So I offered her a calculator to help her as she didn't have one herself. She took offense and continued to try very hard to calculate the bill. Now this is just embarrassing, so why don't you just excuse yourself a smile on your face and calculate the bill behind the scenes and return if you're having that much trouble with it? Ah well. Strange behavior really and a rather sour end to what was a good meal."
