What Kyle West doesn't like about Doug's Day Diner:
Store hours posted that they open at 6am. Got there at 7:30 and all the doors were locked. NOT a holiday, just a regular Monday. Watched about 10 other people do the same thing while waiting in the parking lot before giving up and going somewhere else. View all feedback.
The restaurant is really sweet and I absolutely enjoy that they make their homemade jams from ground on. eating was delicious, full of taste, that is a thing that I was really surprised is that it had taste! they have a great part, the price was excellent. the staff was friendly and the bathroom were well maintained.
Looking for a place to feel with unique menu elements and a charitable when in centennial, co? doug’s day diner is where they should go! papas, breakfast burritos, sweet stuff and much more are available to them to start their day from right. the personal was friendly, delivered great recommendations and served the quality eating fast. when we are back in co, we visit one of their seven stalls.
The eggs benedict was great. we sat at a weekend of about 12, which was nice. very cozy feeling.
Even if it was filled with jam, they did their best to sit everyone in time. every worker was really friendly and on everything. I really enjoyed being there. her eating was really good, and the chai I had was perfect!
This diner is the real deal! Stellar home-made, generous portions at bargain prices, therefore, quite popular. Unlike many restaurants these days, Doug's has barely raised prices to survive supply chain/ inflation cost increases; so your dollar buys more here! Most entrees are still around $10. Wonderfully cheerful staff are always accomodating with every visit. Platters overflow with the huge entrees, like smothered burritos, (with their signature red or green salsa). The griddle biscuits are as large as their house-made cinnamon rolls. Those HUGE, daily scratch-made buttermilk biscuits come hot, butter glazed by the griddle with two freshly made house jams. Their biscuits thick sausage gravy achieves my highest marks, ranking #1 in my decades of experience. Portions again, are so large, half of it gets boxed for home. Like many of the menu items, it can also be ordered at half size. Doug's is franchised, but every one I've visited is dedicated to the delivering the best service and authentic food.
