This place is definitely worth the stop. I have to admit I was sceptical being right off the hwy on both sides but quickly changed my mind when I walked in. We decided to try the BBQ and was met by the most friendly and helpful people. I was told to try the very reasonably priced smoked turkey breast, and got the brisket too. WOW!! What Russell Smith doesn't like about Country Cousins Barbeque:
Ordered a sliced beef sandwhich on a white bun with onions, pickles, jalapeños and just a little sauce. Also a pint of pinto beans and a pint of Coleslaw. The sandwich was on a wheat bun, no pickles onions or jalapeños. The pint of Coleslaw was only 3/4 full. For $6,00 they could fill it up. The beans were good. The sides are over priced. The restaurant stunk. I went with my 3 kids and the ribs tasted like rats. I was very disappointed. I swear I saw dust on the ribs.
Yu get more than what u pay for! Country friendly and great foods. If a mistake is made, they fix it. Lov these folks!!
