Dropped in after work, and sampled a couple of pints and a couple of pies! The pies (we had steak and ale were simply delicious. An excellent pie experience. The mash was lovely too, soft and creamy. Extra gravy was offered on demand some like loads, some like a little. Great bar staff, friendly and welcoming. We would recommend this pub to you, and we will be returning very shortly. Great atmosphere since Ken and Carole have taken over. Excellent service and very friendly customers as well. Two great guest beers.
One of the best meals I’ve ever had great value and it’s made me feel incredible. Burger and chips was like something from a three star Michelin restaurant!
