Jaks is a fantastic place for real coffee and cake. Great prices probably the cheapest but nicest coffee in town. Great selection of cakes . Muffins .and sandwiches. Very friendly staff . I love the cafetiere coffee. Only Highly recommended especially if you are in Bennetts Wreck Park opposite. We take the grandkids to the swings and pop over to the cafe for a break. "Went in for the first time after hearing good reviews. Great selection of food in there I got a range of foods from the deli counter and the shelves which were all high quality and tasty. However, the experience wasn’t enjoyable. The man (presumably owner) wasn’t particularly welcoming and he started shouting at his young worker right in front of everyone. It just made me feel sorry for the poor kid and I wanted to be out the shop as soon as possible. There’s no excuse for acting like that in front of customers. Friendly, welcoming service goes a long way with me, and unfortunately my only experience with this place has put me off. Lovely prosciutto, but bad customer service doesn’t make up for that."
