What User likes about The Red Lion:
large bar with a beautiful atmosphere, very dark, so they probably want to sit outside in summer, but fortunately they have a plentiful beer garden to make this possible. in winter they can order pizzas delivered by one of the places at the church street, and in summer they have a pop-up burger tack, both good opportunities when they have a long drinking session. What Anne P doesn't like about The Red Lion:
Went there for lunch , we both decided to have a BLT on granary bread . When the sandwiches arrived the bread was so thin the spread made the sandwiches slippery and difficult to pic up and eat . The bacon was very fatty and not very well cooked . View all feedback.
Very warm welcome and fabulous food! Portions were spot on for a hungry traveller, and the pub was so clean.
