Not a fancy restaurant, but some of the best Indian food I have eaten in London. The veg Thali was outstanding, with subtle and different flavours in each dish topped off with the obligatory sweet. The dosa was full of flavour, and filled the entire plate. You won't be hungry after visiting. View all feedback.

What User doesn't like about Saravana Bhavan Tooting:
2 stars for prompt service. Taste was below average. Have had food in saravana bhavan in US, which was far better. Dosa was pretty bland, buttermilk was average. They need to add some taste to the filling of Dosa and avoid burning the crepe. Samosa had kind of same filling as the dosa, hence lacked taste. Buttermilk usually has some taste of cumin etc but here it seems plain yogurt. Filter coffee was also average. Service was prompt and seating area was okay. They need to work a lot on the taste of food to keep up the brand.
