We were going to the New Year's Eve lunch at BM with some shyness. There were a lot of visitors and customers. A table was found for us very quickly. Wanted something more than a sandwich so tried the restaurant at the British Museum. Was greeted courteously but then had to wait for a waitress to take my order, eventually the person who told me to wait for the waitress took my order; things seemed a bit unsure , they weren 't busy yet movement was slow.
