"We were visiting Castlegar when our friends took us to this restaurant. We sat in a bigger room so kids could play around when we ate. The food was very tasty. The signature drink feel so refreshed. And the Greek salad and wrap is so authentic, fresh and tasty. Yummmm!The owner George was a friendly great host. We had a delightful time dining at the grateful table."

"The Chameleon Restaurant in Castlegar is cozy and comfortable when coming in the door. The staff is extremely accommodating and friendly. The food, however, is the highlight. Having been to many German restaurants I can say in total honesty that this is one of the best meals I have had in ages! The spices were just right, the portions were ample, and the food was cook to the perfect texture. Never did have a dessert as the meal was large enough to fill, the same for my dinner companion. We also had a proper German import beer with the meal, which mellowed the meal and made the time pass enjoyably. All-in-all, we plan to go back the next time we pass through Castlegar:)"
