Anytime I am in Central Lake, this is a definite must stop in during my stay. They sell a wide variety of condiments with my absolute favorite bread and butter...

"Fish is fresh and delicious! Great service! Large portions! Enjoyed our anniversary dinner, had one oysters Rockefeller full of sand and without asking our server brought us replacements. My husband made a point to call ahead and have a bottle of wine ready at our table and it was there and chilled."

"A great place! Quirky item names on the menu and friendly staff. We got the Gabrielle, Where'd the Cheese Go, Sketches of Winkle, and White Pepper (all sandwiches), they were all delicious and flavorful. We love Short's beers."

"Was a great night to sit out and listen to the guy play music. Unfortunately the staff thought it was more important to talk to each other. We spoke with the waitress and the manager to ask if we could sit outside. They brought menus and never came back. We waited for ten minutes. The guy playing music played three songs and still not one server came to the table. We decided to leave and go somewhere else. Great place to go of you are just looking for a place to sit. As we walked out the servers were standing by the bar talking to each other. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Recommended dishes: Lasagne"

"Misses and I stopped in on a trip down the Lake Michigan coast. I had the River walk burger with peanut butter on it....mmmmmmm. The little lady had the olive burger...yum. Give this place a chance. I hope to stop here again."
