What karzazen doesn't like about Mtr:
I was fortunate to arrive at this restaurant without having to wait in line. I was curious about why it is so popular. We requested no ghee in the masala dosa, but the staff informed us that the potatoes already contain ghee. When we asked for masala tea, we were served black tea instead because they only have cow's milk. In this modern time, they should consider offering plant-based milk for vegans, especially given... Used to love this place but now I’m vegan it’s too limited almost everything is cooked in or contains ghee. Recommend for vegetarians though.
Today, while exploring the colourful world Art Trail Street Art in Little India, I also pop by MTR – Mavalli Tiffin Rooms to explore their Masala Dosa $6+ . Heard this dish is to die for and they started in Bangalore in 1924 with outlets in Dubai and Kuala Lumpur. Simply love the potatoes got onion, I think in their Dosa! Not bad, now I know another good vegetarian restaurant besides Komala Vila, Ananda Bhavan, Gokul, Cafe Salivation in Little India Singapore!
Basic, cheap and delicious food. Fast friendly service. Nice and clean. Recommend to all.
Medhu vada is my favourite here .. it is very fresh and has amazing taste..only place where I have had Rava idli and it is very nice..ghee dosa is lovely too..whenever I am craving for south indian food I end up going to MTR ! If you are driving park at the public carpark next to the temple on the opposite side of the restaurant .. lots of space.
Amazing authenticity of food and ambience. The service is too good. I have been to this place many times and their hospitality is outstanding. Pudi idly- is a must try.
