"Just tried out this cinema to watch Saw X and we were blown away by this little gem. Lovely staff, a bar that serves hot, soft or alcoholic drinks. Popcorn and nachos. But the cinema itself is like going back in time, with fabulous decor, comfy reclining seat. Highly recommend. Would like to try the restaurant upstairs next as the menu looks fantastic."

"My friend and I had lunch here while on a week's holiday in the area. It's an unassuming little place from the outside but once inside the foodie and alcoholic delights are apparent. The lunch I had with goats cheese and salad was perfect. I could eat this meal all day and every day. I washed it down with a beer and we had a good sized portion of mixed olives while our lunch was freshly prepared. Highly recommended eating place."

"Weekend trip to Aber, the locals recommend the Ship. Being an Australian on holiday I dutifully marched to the pub, via the castle to ensure I was at peak thirst. We got a great reception from Ian and staff, beer was extra cold, pub was homely and clean with a great vibe. Keep up the great work"

"Travelled up to Aberystwyth from south wales for the day and as a massive foodie and a very keen lover of burgers this took my fancy. Staff were unbelievably friendly and well presented. Whole restaurant was very clean and surprisingly quiet when we arrived. Could see there was a lot of reserved tables so we knew we was on to a winner for good food. Ordered the large wings to share and they are by far in my top 5 wings I've had. Huge portion. Meat falling off the bone. Only recommendation is to add more flavours. Ended up pouring the bbq sauce (which was amazing also) over them to mix them up. Went for the surf n turf burger with cheese loaded fries. Burger was cooked lovely with few prawns on top. Strong flavoured onions but caramelized ones so be weary if ordering. The cheese fries were amazing. If you love cheese then I suggest getting these and eating them whilst hot so the cheeses literally stringing on to the chips. Home made slaw was really tasty. If I'm in the area again I will no doubt be stopping here for food. 10/10"
