What User likes about The Ship:
Great food. Brilliant service from seriously helpful and friendly staff. Boss man , Captain Alun, on top form though obviously under pressure. Struggled to sell much mixed veg crumble but had big grin on his face all night. Long way from Lancashire but would deffo go back if anywhere cole by in the future View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Ship:
Have been a regular at this restaurant for a number of years and always recommended it. Sadly, not now. Bar staff clearly didn’t want to be at work seemed incapable of speech. Main meals were mixed, sea bass and haloumi good, chicken ok, seafood risotto extremely lacking in seafood (see other reviews). “Tiger Prawn” special starter was 5 little prawns in a tiny bowl, 2 pieces of toast and a few leaves. Had several superb meals at the Ship, doga are welcome inside and the food is of a high quality and good size portions, we were to full to have puddings
We sat outside late morning had a drink and snacks and watched the world go by. The toilets and pub areas are spotless, a credit to the owner and friendly staff...
