"Necessary premise: of the sauternes and its surroundings, which I visited several times, I am a passionate estimator not so much for the landscape (although some vineyards are of remarkable beauty) as for the moldy wines that are produced there, against which I cultivate a visceral passion, and for the castles where those nectars are processed. the visit to the Auberge des vignes was. a side effect of this interest. arrived in the area at lunch, we asked the maison du sauternes place to visit absolutely if you love these wines where to go to lunch and this place was recommended. experience has been, for me, a small double face: for those who do not strave (eufemism) for meat, this is not a suitable place: on the fireplace they rub on the grill huge pieces of beef coast and the alternatives (which I saw forced) are cured or legumes of lamb, with a minimum shelter in a cheese sauce, but only discreet. judging by the filling, the dishes are up to expectations and the wine (the table that I do not drink and do not like. no one is perfect) too. I struggled to ingurgitate what was served to me, but I can't say that the goto was unpleasant. But I would like to describe my personal experience, I would not have gone beyond the average, but considering the most affordable prices of formulas (but there are cuts of beef of various origins at high costs) and especially the invaluable atmosphere from authentic popular tavernas as in Italy it is increasingly difficult to find and try, a very good judgment seems appropriate to me."
