Come on…you really can’t beat this place! In adorable chagrin falls, incredible coffee with fun seasonal offerings, delicious pastries made by their bakery, great vibe with lots of windows and plants. I love to come here to work and to spend time with friends! Know it is quite busy on the weekends, but for a good reason! If they’ve got a loaf of their sourdough for sale, make sure to grab that too! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Heartwood Coffee Roasters:
Love this cute coffee shop. Coffees are fantastic but yesterday when I went in there were large fruit flies crawling on the baked goods on the counter which made me a bit concerned. I brought it to the attention of the girl ringing me up but I received no response back. May just want to check that out before you purchase the sweets. I’ll still get the coffee though. Great place, first time I went I had the jojo. Tasted like a mix between a campfire and Christmas. The environment is comfy and cozy and great place to get coffee to go also. Only issue I have is I got the London fog today... just taste like hot milk, can't taste any tea or lavender syrup. Disappointed but won't stop me from coming back.
The coffee has improved greatly since this was an Italian coffee shop a few years ago. The staff are very nice as well!
Quiet spot with great coffee and pastries! Will definitely return!
CAPITAL COFFEE and SERVICE...!!! It's a convenient spot on the main drag in Chagrin Falls. I was curious about the coffee there and the staff explained to me they have a particularly interesting roast for an espresso that combines coffee beans from Kenya and Columbia. They brew it with a premium quality coffee and espresso maker which produced a magnificent pick me up. I returned today and the barista, Heather, was particularly helpful and friendly. She explained to me what some of the different treats were that they offered. I had the bacon and cheddar scone which was surprisingly delicious. It had a nice chew, was tender, and moist. It was exactly what I needed and I can't wait to have another. Lastly the cortado that Heather made me it was extraordinary, like something at a fine dining restaurant in Paris. I am new to this area but will return again and again for that coffee, scone, and service! Love everything you're doing, Heartwood!
These are real coffee people (and the bread, when available, is pretty doggone great). From dark roast pour-overs, to their medium roast Birds Eye, and espresso drinks...good stuff with people that know what they're talking about. Shout out to Gavin and Heather in particular for their help in selecting coffee and even equipment for my home brew days.
