What Gabe Sansing likes about Patsy's Bakery:
My wife and I mistakenly pulled into this bakery intending to go to the taco shack. What a blessing! In lieu of instant indigestion from tacos, we had delightful, light pastries and great coffee. My wife had tea!If you EVER travel through Chama headed to parts unknown, Patsy's is a MUST stop. The croissants were better than the ones I had in Paris France a couple months earlier; much more flaky! View all feedback.

What Tone Bone doesn't like about Patsy's Bakery:
For being New Mexican food, it was mediocre. Had the smothered hamburger and wasn’t the worst, but definitely not close to above average. Service was good and attentive. Building should be demoed. View all feedback.

"My man ordered the breakfast burrito and asked if they could mix all flesh. he said it was the best he ever had. it was a big part and had other customers in awe at the portion size. we highly recommend this restaurant for a wonderful breakfast experience."

"I realize that, in such a small tourist town, this place doesn't have to try very hard as they don't have to relay on repeat customers, and it Really shows. The place was very run down and dirty, doors for propped open with chairs, no maintenance have been done at all on the place so every leak stain on the ceiling was left, holes in the walls were never repaired and the bathroom looked like an old service station restroom. The food was covered but the lettuce had oxidized and many of the other choices looked limp and old. I got a roast beef footlong meal. I can't exactly put my finger on what was wrong with it, it's simply was incredibly bland even though I had asked and saw him add salt and pepper to it. The bread felt doughy but it looked done. The place was run down and dirty but I can't really explain what it was about the sandwich that made me take three bites wrap it up and throw the rest to the birds. Just down the road, probably less than a mile, is a barbecue restaurant called serious Texas BBQ and it is delicious. There is also the Elkhorn Cafe outside of the Elkhorn Lodge and it is, likewise, very good. There are not a lot of choices in Chama, but one of the worst that you can make is the Subway."
