"We had a delicious evening meal in this restaurant and were served by very friendly and accommodating staff. The menu was four courses for 29 Euros with a limited selection of food (about 4 or 4 choices for each course. We had ordered lobster and there was not enough to go round so the restaurateur offered us snails which had not been on the the menu. Would recommend, we were the only English people there, the other customers were all French. It was the only restaurant in the village."

"With my companion we waited 25 minutes before we took our order and 30 minutes more to be served, making a total of 55 minutes waiting to eat a pizza that had no taste and very fine. We're gonna stay on our end. I really don't recommend it."

"Ht Marnaise d'origine venant des environs de Thionville Grand Est, lors d'une visite sur Froncles (Hte Marne),le jour de la Toussaint, nous avons voulu enmener maman au restaurant.Elle m'indique des adresses sur Chaumont, pour faire 4 réservations.Mais elle m'avait donné aussi lenom du Cantarel.J'ai survolé les avis tripadvisor sur Chaumont, mais rien ne nous attirait!Bon nez car ce restaurant était tout ce que nous cherchions:gentil accueil, un service impeccable , une cuisine très savoureuse, des produits du terroir , un joli décor, une patronne très attentionnée et souriante qui connait bien ses clients.Leur expérience professionnelle est ià enviée par les restaurants des villes avoisinantes! Nous y retournerons avec plaisir lors d'une prochaine visite."
