I studied in Chambery in 1987-88, and discovered Le Chapon Fin, one of the few bars open till late. I returned to the town in 2016 and was overjoyed to see it is still open! Bustling, popular city centre bar in a beautiful location opposite the Palais de Justice. Extra seating upstairs. Seats outside in summer. Reasonable prices, e.g. €2.50 for a 0.20 litre "demi" of beer. Does a small menu of food too. View all feedback.
