What Ahanu Banerjee likes about Wehemia Ethiopian:
Very good, but not the best in town. I prefer Embilta, but I appreciate that Wehemia used 100% teff injera when I ordered. I wish the veggie combo had kik alicha instead of fitfit.I did takeout, not dine-in.Vegetarian options: As far as I can tell, their veggie combo is vegan (no butter), but it's best to confirm with the restaurant first. Unfortunately We didn’t get a chance to be served on this place cus the restaurant wasn’t open yet, even if they should open 12pm We waited for 15 min no one showed up and call, no answer. poor us we drove about 25 min to get there. "I ate at Babette's waaay back when it first opened. Have been wanting to go back for years, but moved out of the neighborhood. When I heard she was closing after 30 years, I made it a point to go back. We really enjoyed our evening and dinner. It was late, so I brought most of mine home, but we made sure to get dessert!"
