"I used to come here all the time back before I graduated in 2020, and it was hands down the best sushi in Champaign-Urbana. I came back recently to try Sakanaya again, and while the food quality and freshness was still amazing, everything seemed to bereally salty from what I remember. I still really enjoyed myself and the service was great, but not as good as I remember. Mighthave just been an off night, but as always I will come back and try again when I am in town!"

"I took my family here for the first time this past weekend. I was blown away by the desert crepes. The only downside was the store is to small. Champaign don't have to many new and creative places like this. It's almost of everything is for students only.... But over all ,we enjoyed it. I advise anyone else to please check the combination menu out before ordering. They do give you 2 options of ordering and with it being busy... I order separately and spent full price for everything. However me and family enjoyed. We will return and I will just now how to order next time."

"I would love to visit here again someday. I know that it was beyond out of the way when we were making the trip up to Champaign, but this place was a gem to visit with their quality and selection. If I ever get a chance to come back down here, I plan to come again and hope anyone nearby does as well."

"Great food. We had hot pot, both spicey and regular broth. Tried beef, lamb, pork, fish, quail eggs. Many vegetables to choose from, a few of which I could not identify. The woman helping us was great since it was our first hot pot experience. She mixed up some sauce for us too, which was perfect. One price for all the veggies and protein you want. And a soda included. Delicious! The day we went it was almost 100 degrees outside. Winter would definitely be better for hot pot."

"One of the best places for authentic Mexican food in the area! When we stop in CU, we always make sure we pass for the delicious food. Amazing quality. Great portions.
