This looks like a new restaurant and the tourist hoards were in the restaurants across the road so we gave it a go. We were not disappointed, there was an extensive Lao menu, with some English translations, the prices were cheaper than across the road and the presentation and quantity were great. What User doesn't like about Daovieng:
This restaurant is next door to the hotel of the same name, so don't be surprised if you stop in here and see more foreigners than locals eating here. The menu is pretty large, and it's mostly Laos-Thai food, so don't expect many Western dishes here. I had a few dishes here, and while nothing really stood out, it certainly wasn't a bad decision to come here. They also have good wifi and there's plenty of seats. View all feedback.
