"My wife and I stopped by so she could get Newfoundland's Poutine, "The Mess". Properly made, this is French Fries topped with dressing, hamburger meat, weiners, and gravy. She said it was excellent. I had a hot beef sandwich which was good. They were also offering a Sunday Dinner (Jiggs) which looked excellent but we passed on as we were having Jiggs that evening.Good Newfoundland comfort food."

"Diner/family style restaurant on the way to Fogo from the ferry. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The food is very good. The cooks in the back kitchen know what they are doing. My husband said it was the best western sandwich he has ever had. Compliments ladies!"

"When in lewisporte KFC and got a double bucket meal to eat at the ferry. When I got to the ferry open up the bag to find they did not put my chicken in. I was not happy."
