The restaurant does not live up to its promise. The menu pictures are different from the actual food served, and the quality is not good. I would not recommend this place. View all feedback.
In terms of service, it was good initially with someone assisting me and the restaurant appearing relatively clean. However, I was put off by the continuous passing by of a worker with cleaning chemicals while I was eating, which was unpleasant. Additionally, once I had finished my meal, no one came to check on me, so I had to go to the cash register myself. The staff had difficulty understanding my order as they did not speak much English, making the process a bit challenging. Overall, the service would be rated a 2.5 or 3, as it felt like I was only attended to until I had placed my order. In conclusion, the food is good enough for a solid 4 rating, but due to the uncomfortable atmosphere created by the cleaning chemicals and indifferent service, I would recommend opting for takeout instead. My overall experience would have been more enjoyable eating in my car.
I recently dined at an incredible Salvadoran restaurant and had the best pupusas of my life. The cooks at this restaurant are truly talented, and it is a perfect place to start or end your day. I can't wait to bring more attention to this hidden gem because the food is so authentic, unique, and delicious. Pupusas are a typical dish in El Salvador, consisting of thick corn tortillas filled with cheese. They are incredibly flavorful and satisfying. The revuelta pupusa is perfect for meat lovers, filled with shredded pork, while the loroco pupusa is a great option for vegetarians, filled with a plant similar to squash blossoms. Both come with a side of curtido, a tangy and spicy cabbage slaw that complements the rich flavors of the pupusas perfectly. I also tried the chicken tamales and chorizo tacos, which were equally delicious. The restaurant also boasts beautiful artwork, with stunning paintings adorning the walls. I always sit in front of the map of El Salvador, divided into different regions. The menu is extensive, and I can't wait to try their breakfast options and the fried fish. Overall, I give this restaurant a well-deserved 5 stars.
