"This place exceeded my expectations by far. Small town steakhouses scare me just a little. Went to one and like over half of the menu was not available. This place is way different. Friendly staff and amazing food. It was extremely packed and not an empty booth or table in the place. Went for my birthday dinner and was impressed. Will definitely be returning for more date nights with the wife."

"Granted, this is Southeast Kansas so my five stars do not imply white table clothes and silverware kind of place. In comparison to other SEK small town restaurants that are Main St small businesses, I'm giving 5 stars. That is to say that the ribs were reasonably priced, cooked to the perfect tenderness for my liking and the portion size of the sides were appropriate. My wife and I thought the ribs were tasty and would come back again. Great customer-service interactions were experienced from the young, freckled-face hostess/server/cashier to the (I'm assuming) owner/BBQ-er throughout the meal."

"Yummy burger. The girl who answered the phone was super sweet and efficient. Fries were soggy but that's prob cuz they were to go. I sure do wish places would find a way to make fried to go not soggy. Like in Germany, they put em in a paper cone. Anyway, will def get a burger again."
