Breadmen's is a great place for lunch. Delicious homemade soups, unique sandwiches and lunch plates are in the offering. You can also order breakfast anytime. Good home cooking for a reasonable price makes Breadman's The Place for lunch. My personal favorites are Bill's Vacation Grill Cheese available on Wednesday and Thursday, the Mushroom Barley Soup. "This is my favorite restaurant in the Durham area. The food is high end without being pretentious. You also could show up in jeans and know what would bat an eye. Everyone from the manager, to the hostess at the door, to the bartenders are friendly and engaging. The cocktail menu has traditional favorites but offerings for the more adventurous. It's expensive but worth every penny."
