"My daughter and I were visiting from out of town and happened to find this wonderful gem while searching for healthy places to eat for breakfast. We both loved the açaí bowls, nice portion sizes and everything was very fresh! The staff are veryfriendly, attentive, and very organized! Highly recommend this place and would definitely return if we are back in the areaagain!"

"We were in the hotel next to the restaurant. beautifully dressed, we asked a drink on the (empty) waiting terrace before the restaurant. the stoic hostess refused to sit outside on the open terrace (not even the enclosed dining terrace) with our 2 nice dogs. so we went 10 meters to the next restaurant and were warmly welcomed on their terrace. also the umstead welcomes dogs on their terrace. not sure what they thought."

"The food is excellent, a very taditional Italian menu, attentive staff, clean establishment, the atmosphere was lovely. And the owner even comes by and checks on patrons. Even though i came in as a large family of 6 (including a very active toddler) after the lunch rush on sunday, the staff was wonderful and friendly, brought food out promptly. Magone's would also make for a great date night eatery with out kiddos. I think i have found a new favourite restaurant!"
