"Visiting family from a Detroit suburb and wanted to get some good, non-chain local pizza while in Mt. Pleasant. Did a Google local search for pizza near me and sorted the choices by highest rated. Happy to see Detroit style pizza in the name of this restaurant. Highly rated reviews and let me tell you they lived up to the hype! We ordered the Mediterranean and the BLT specialty pizzas. They were absolutely fresh and delicious with a perfectly crispy crust without being overly greasy. All of us- Michiganders and the locals alike; loved this pizza. Our family that lives there will be ordering again in the future and we will be sure to stop by on our next visit. We did take out but I popped into the dining area which was absolutely spotless and charming and full of Detroit, Michigan memorabilia. Try this place for sure!"

"If you have a sweet tooth, go here once, and you are definitely coming back. Oversized portions of sugar drenched cakes and pies are offered. We ate here first and then had dinner elsewhere to balance out the sugar spike all that delicious cake offered. Kaminsky's is a popular destination for people aware of it."

"Ambiente and eating was very, very good. we really enjoyed that. the rolls, salad wraps, fried spicy clauliflowers were delicious and different, the shasimi lachs and thunfisch was very good and the garnel curry was great. there were five of us and our bill has just over $300 total. the service was just below the average. the waitress just came around when she was in the opposite, but otherwise she just stayed in the bar area. it took 15 minutes to get soy sauce and ginger/wasabi for our sushi starters. when they talk to us and smile when they deliver the bill, it's just not good enough. has it not approached the top, but wondered if we really have to pay 20/30%? next time we will simply stay in the bar where we know that the service is great, but no larger quantity can bring."
