What User doesn't like about Henrietta's At The Dewberry:
We had high hopes based in the reviews but were disappointed. The services was attentive. But the foods was a total let down. The French onion soup was anything but a French onion soup and simply was a terrible tasting onion, pork fat concoction. The main course was equally disappointing with a luck warm succotash topped with a local fish which was tasty but didn’t save the meal. The lamb dish was equally disappointi... View all feedback.
I'm a little confused by some of the other reviews. This place is a wonderful French restaurant that my wife and I love. The food is phenomenal. We had to share her whole chicken and it was a culinary masterpiece. Each part of the chicken was cooked for perfection. We were also for lunch and the food was excellent. I had Omelette there and it was one of the best egg dishes I ever had. The service is excellent, and we enjoyed our waiters both times. We love the cocktails very much. Needless to say, we cannot wait to come back!
Food, service and atmosphere are impressive. While the interior of the Dewberry is clearly stunning, I was not sure what to expect from the food. I didn't hear much of it, so I tried the other day. The convenience of the parking lot nearby brought us to the door. Every employee was helpful and friendly. The Sherry Cobbler cocktail I had was one of my favorites recently and not too strong for lunch. The kitchen went out of her way to make a dish vegetarian friendly for my mother while I still try her linguiça sausages that was so tasteful. My mother and I both noticed that the Gnocchi were the lightest we ever cost. Don't wait a day to try this new addition to the Charleston Food scene.
Beautiful atmosphere, good food and impressive hospitality. Our waiter was wonderful and polite.
Our waiter was the most charming thing ever. Our eggs benedict was delightful. The only issue was that they didn't serve alcohol before 10 a.m.and we were in there at 8 a.m. looking for a **** Mary. Oh well still enjoyed to the fullest!!!!
Good service! Pretty location Not much variety on the breakfast menu though
