"We found R kitchen on a whim while we stayed in Charleston to evacuate Hurricane Irma. It was such a great experience! The concept is refreshing and fun and the food was incredible. "This place was absolutely amazing! The service was very friendly, the food was cooked perfectly, and for the overall price of the meal, it was competitive. The only thing I wish I would have known, is if you plan on going to brunch, you have to buy tickets inside the gardens to be able to go to the restaurant."

"Ate outside a couple times but today was my first meal inside the restaurant. Ambiance is great. Service was slow. The menu is always fantastic and the food was good as usual. The pastries are beautiful--today I had the baked alaska and it did not disappoint! Husband doesn't know why I like them so much... said the bread on their sandwiches are too oversized and thought the grits were plain."
