"I don't normally write a bad review purely because of service, but I have to make an exception due to the way the manager handled my complaint. We ordered two margherita pizzas, and one of them came undercooked - it looked paler than the other and when I tried a first bite it tasted like uncooked bread dough. I discretely called the manager over and mentioned the issue. He was immediately defensive saying that this is how it's traditionally made, that it cooks in 90 secs, etc. I say I am Italian and I know the taste of uncooked dough, I have made undercooked pizza myself. He says: I can put it back in the oven if you like it crispy, but it may burn. I say: I think you should make another one. He agrees but not before saying: so you want it crispy. I say with a smile: I want it cooked. Then a new properly cooked pizza came out. Never did the manager apologise for the inconvenience.I don't think that customers are always right, but they should at least be given the benefit of the doubt. Especially when an almost untouched pizza is sent back and could be checked by the chef."

"My husband and I have dined at Ta-ke Sushi in Charlottetown for many years, always enjoying very good sushi and pleasant service. We ate there in June and had a somewhat different experience. The food was still good, although my Dragon Roll had what seemed an excess of tempura crisps (used as filler)? and wasn't rolled as tightly as usual, making it difficult to eat. Perhaps this was a result of so many tempura crisps and very little substantial in the roll. My husband's Spicy Scallop Roll was good as usual.However, the server was extremely unpleasant - unwelcoming and almost rude in her attitude. We hope it was just an off day for her and that she will realize that she plays an important role in helping to make dining at Ta-ke Sushi a pleasant experience in which people will want to return."

"The food here was delicious. We got penang curry, pad thai and coconut chicken soup. All of those dishes tasted authentic thai and were very reasonably priced. The fried rice was a bit bland. Spring rolls were crispy and hot. Be prepared to wait for a bit... also you have to go to the counter to order! There is a sign there, but they don't tell you that when you walk in and are sat down, so we sat around for a few minutes until we saw the sign! ????"

"I just came back from PEI and had one of the best culinary experiences of my life here. I was last case, but sat only at the bar and had a little nibble... this time we ordered the crab cakes that die for... and while we were ready to order, the server shared the special of the night that was supposed to be PEI halibut with smoked potatoes and roasted vegetables. The halibut came with a salsa and chimmichuri. This court almost brought me to tears. I couldn't believe the taste! Unbelievable. This is a must when you visit PEI! Walkability: Near all Charlottetown hotels. 5 minutes walk from Holman Grand"

"So amazing. Food was spectacular. We sat at the bar and talked with staff. Pat was really amazing and definitely recommend going here for any kind of event. Must go to restaurant in Charlottetown for sure!!!! Oysters were delicious and mussels were even better."

"Absolutely love this friendly, family run restaurant, especially since the recent reno. The atmosphere is casual/comfy and very welcoming. I try to have dinner here every time I go to PEI. The menu is diverse and there is something for everyone including the kiddies from fresh seafood, salads, burgers and steaks. The owners are Lebanese and their cook is east Indian so you can't go wrong ordering anything with a Middle eastern flare. The kafta and rice is so tasty, but my favourite time to go here is on curry Wednesdays (or maybe it's Tuesday be sure to check! The chicken korma is to die for! Check it out you'll love it!"
