There's not that many Deli's in Charlotte, not like places up north where they are in every neighborhood. This is why I was excited to try Deli Street on a recommendation I saw in Axios for Cindy's Turkey sandwich. Cindy's sandwich is a creative twist on a turkey and cheese sandwich and it was very good. Fresh bread, I think they make it in house, or at least buy it locally as it was very fresh . The pimento cheese a... View all feedback.
What Jessica C doesn't like about Deli St:
We went to pick up vegan tacos from their special truck. I should have checked the bag but they forgot my pimento cheese which I really wanted and still haven't responded to my email. My tacos were also wrong, smh. They were good and I ate them.. but I still want my pimento cheese smh. I mean it was the most expensive item we ordered. The pasta salad wasn't to die for either. Decided to go to Deli St for lunch. We were thrilled by the number of vegan options including all day breakfast, lunch, dinner, smoothies, desserts, drinks and snacks! I tried the Vegan AF with hash brown, tropical smoothie and chocolate cupcake. Everything was good. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They have a ton of cool plants and works of art (including a fantastic mural outside) as well as a good number of tables both inside and outside with parasols. You also have a drive through the window. We're coming back! Updated by previous review on 2022-10-28
We stopped for a quick lunch and the food was delicious
This place has so many good options for cheap. definitely a charlotte fav. would recommend the order in advance if in a hurry, because it tends to take a while
Honestly- they have the most extensive vegan options for breakfast, lunch, dessert, coffee, smoothies, etc! Always adding and expanding to their menu. The El Chigon for breakfast and the vegan patty melt . Also just the nicest people. Love this place!
The cashier was nice and the place has a great variety of drinks. However, the food lacks seasoning and flavor. I ordered the El Chingón (vegan)and the and the tofu was not really seasoned.I also ordered the vegan Beyond wrap. It was a decent size, but it is was not seasoned well. I feel like there should have been a sauce added to it. And for $12.99 it should have also included a side. But, there was no side.I will probably give this place another try once they get a better sanitation grade. It was a 90 when I ordered today.
