I called to ask for a Thanksgiving Potluck lunch for the office. Dan, the owner, picked up and was extremely helpful in my selections. On the day I wanted to pick up the order, Dan called to confirm the order and he had prepared additional fixes. (I.e. Gravy, Hush Puppies, etc.) The food was EXCELLENT! How is this a 4.5 star establishment?? Yeah, the meat was tender, nice smoke flavor, the staff was nice, and service was quick.. Outside of the smoke, the meat lacked flavor, the bbq sauce was water thin, and was just meh in flavor. The Cole slaw and hush puppies were good,, the baked beans tasted like a can of pintos sitting in a bath of their sauce,, uninspiring..
