I often go, never a bad experience. the staff is very polite and welcoming, eating is especially the sushi . on this day I ordered a magic roll and some teriyaki vagodies. I didn't get a photo of the roll because I immediately ate the sushi.. but these are the veggies. presentation is also amazing! View all feedback.

4.5 rounded up, 0.5 stars overall for slow service and value for money Food: 5 5 Everything was delicious. If you’re looking for legit, amazing sushi sashimi, this is it. Quality fish and fantastic execution. Tuna totoro was definitely the star of dinner. Service: 4 5 We were seated promptly even on a busy Saturday night, and our server was amazing! Her recommendations were great, and she was very attentive and friendly. However, this is the longest meal of sushi ever 2.5 hours for 1 appetizer, 1 small dish, and 2 rolls. We did order another roll in the middle of the meal, but waiting a whole hour for 1 more roll seems excessive. Ambiance: 5 5 Feels nice enough so if you dress up you won’t stand out, but casual enough to wear a t shirt and basketball shorts. Perfect for a date night or if you just want to treat yourself to a nice dining experience. The bar is beautiful if you wanted to sit there. Value: 4 5 This place is overpriced. Anything with sashimi was TINY, the smallest portion sizes I’ve ever seen from a sushi restaurant, even upscale ones! Yes, the quality is there, but it’s on par more expensive than sushi in LA.
Had a wonderful experience here. Great food and service! We had quite a few things off of the menu: calamari, pork dumplings, and several of the sushi rolls. BUT we came for the sea urchin and salmon belly that we hadn’t tried before. We were NOT disappointed!! Our server was awesome, he went through everything and even gave us some off the menu options. Definitely coming back here.
Charlie was amazing. The food is not so much. The ginger salad dressing was so overwhelming with ginger. How much. The spicy tuna reel was not really sharp. The cucumber roll was good. The calbi was very sweet like Teriyaki sauce I?ve had this often in other places) the shrimp empura with vegetables was great. Sauce was basically water. Like no taste at all, but was said how it was done. Miso soup was cold/hot. Lychee martini was great. Strawberry Mochi was great.
Good location with nice interiors and clean service. Waiter/server was little tacit but prompt. Ordered Bento box c but they don?t allow changes or additions or replacement. That was little bummer and food tasted Okay and could have been better for the price.
The rating may be too harsh but this is my honest opinion, the food was not good. It almost tasted like something I?d make at home and fyi, I?m a terrible cook.. I was really disappointed because I had high expectations. Even the drinks tasted cheap. I was later informed that the sushi here is really good so maybe I made the wrong choice by selecting a plate.
