"Has to be one of the best restaurants in the entire Charlottesville area. We had the privilege of working with Ali for our wedding rehearsal dinner of 35 people. Ali was professional, engaged and an absolute pleasure to work with the entire time! Our guests were blown away at the quality of the food and the diversity of the food offerings. Also, the baklava had to be the BEST baklava I've ever tasted. They also made us a custom gluten/dairy-free desert that our guests loved. I can't recommend this restaurant enough for a quick bite, or as full event caterer. They do NOT disappoint. Thank you Ali!!!!!"

"My daughter and I wound up in Charlottesville by happenstance and have just fell in love with this town. Public Fish and Oyster has been an utter delight so we had to go twice. If you have the chance, find a seat at the bar during happy hour. The service was fabulous, conversation with fellow guests wonderful. The cocktails, excellent bourbon, oysters, and lobster rolls were enough to get the wheels turning for a reason to journey back from Colorado. Thanks to all!!"

It is as Neapolitan as you can get within 2 hours drive, and their sides/salds are diverse and interesting. You know that you stumble on something good when Google Chrome asks you if you want to translate your website from Italian to English. Just try the miso maple hazelnut roasted squash page also some of the best squash I've ever had, and I'm a squash type. It is a seasonal dish and I have seen it on their menu October to February (at least). The portions are a bit small, I think it is possible for a normal adult to finish a pizza alone; that's not a criticism, just a Fyi. October 2022 Review: still the best pizza in Charlottesville. When our first time sat inside, I was enchanted by the cozy, intimate atmosphere. It is no surprise that there is a line outside, 10 minutes before opening. Excellent cocktails, wine, appetizers and natural pizza. All invoices (independent of party size) are calculated an automatic 18% service fee to ensure fair wages, and I could no longer agree with this policy, they deserved it safely. The servers heed the timing of the plates well, bring out the wine quickly, are worth knowing about the wine and are pleasantly warm. There's not one thing I'd change about Lampo."
