What User doesn't like about Urban Bowl:
I loved Cardamom, amazing food, but the new owners and name change have not done great things for this business. The menu still has some old favorites on it (seaweed salad, tofu balls, dumplings), but they are not made or served with the same love. Crispy rolls were still partially frozen, other dishes felt overpriced for what we got, and the quality has reduced significantly. View all feedback.
Stopped by and was shocked that this gem of the place wasn't that busy. They have an authentic menu with some great Pho to cure the hangover I was thumping. Added to the fact that the staff was courteous and explained the menu and specials well. I will return.
Brisket Pho is amazing!!! Loved the broth and the quality of the meat. They served toppings on the side so you can easily adjust the flavor.
Best pho in cville. Those complaining must not know that you season it to your taste (the sauces are there for a reason! . I've been here multiple times, and it's always delicious. The staff is charming and friendly, and the atmosphere is nice, clean, and quiet. Highly recommend!
I love, love, love the pho and the crispy veggie rolls on appetizer menu, especially when sick. I've been two days in a row it is so good. Hidden gem inside the York building on downtown mall. Also, be sure you have quarters for parking. Highly recommend.
