"It may not be the best Ramen on island but it's all about the experience. Adventure to this establishment and see how much spice you can handle. Great staff, solid food and the spice level goes to 1,000! You can even get a picture of your sweating mug on the wall if you do certain levels."

"Amazing food. Portions are not American sized, so I recommend getting two dishes if you’re a normal-sized American with an appetite. Also not extremely kid friendly, and there is usually a wait. Finally, the parking situation is the worst. You might have to get up in the middle of your meal to let someone out, if you even get to park within about half of a mile of the place. I have never got parking there, but I did not follow their recommendation to go all the way to the sea wall to see if I could find a spot there, either. Wife had delicious avocado toast, I had some amazing herb chicken plate and the French toast. All top notch. Would get all five stars with better parking, despite the medium-small portions. So good!"

"Incredibly nice, vegan lunch cafe. I tried the daily lunch plate, which was Japanese style with rice, miso soup, vegan karaage and different vegetable sides (with seasonal, local produce). The lady who runs it is very kind, but she doesn't speak English, so it's better if you speak Japanese (the menu is also only in Japanese, but when I told her I can't read kanji, she read it out loud for me). Nice offerings of homemade drinks and the desserts (which are all gluten free) looked delicious too. Also, all the plates and cutlery were beautiful and straws were reusable, made from metal."

"I went in the evening so the bolognese pasta was sold out and there was only one kind of raw cake left. We ate the mabo dofu and I really enjoyed it. We had not had mabo dofu in years since you cannot find mabo dofu without animal derived ingredients. My husband enjoyed the French fries with meat sauce and cheese. The raw cake was delicious and they served us with a passion fruit as a gesture of courtesy. The restaurant design and interior is really nice with outdoor seating and swings at the porches."

"I had the tankan and the Shikuwasha, both of which were incredibly good. The prices are quite decent: 230 for single, 300 for double and 400 for three flavors. Also, now all flavors are clearly marked with allergens, so it is easy to see which are vegan (without milk and eggs). The staff does not really speak English, but they are really nice."
