We had not realized that Le Verger Des Papes was located at the top of the hill at the Chateau so that was a completely unexpected surprise! The views are amazing. We had lunch and the food was very tasty and fresh. I had the Salmon and my husband had the foei gras and then for the main courses we had the duck and the lamb especially delicious were the vegetables the dessert was very refreshing. read more.

In pleasant weather you can even have something in the outdoor area.

What a shame that the manager was so unpleasant! We came all the way from New York for the incredible view. Our table was unfortunately in the middle of the restaurant with no view so when a table freed up 5 mins after our arrival we asked if we could move. Our waiter was super nice and agreed but his manager said no. Great food, awesome waiters… really too bad that our experience was ruined as we watched this empty... read more.
